REGINA -- Edmontons Tyler Thomas and John White, and Saskatchewans Keith Toston will do their best to find holes while plugging them at the same time. Authentic Solomon Hill Jersey . Thomas and White ignited a punchless Eskimos offence Friday night by combining for 153 yards rushing in Edmontons 19-14 victory over the host Saskatchewan Roughriders in CFL exhibition action at Mosaic Stadium. Thomas carried the bulk of the load for Edmonton and registered 96 yards on 12 carries. White added 57 yards along the ground, including a 41-yard touchdown run in the third quarter that gave the visitors a 16-14 advantage. Hugh Charles, in his seventh season in the CFL, is the lone veteran on the Eskimos depth chart in the backfield. Charles had two catches on Friday for 13 yards. "It has been a crazy ride for us during training camp," said White, who added one catch for 22 yards. "Its a friendly competition with all of us. I want Tyler to do well, I want Hugh to do well and I want to do well. "Ball out -- thats all we have to do." It was the Eskimos backups that spurred Fridays second-half comeback. Second-string quarterback Matt Nichols threw for 155 yards, most of which came in Edmontons 14-point third quarter. Nichols, the backup to starter Mike Reilly, found Adarius Bowman for a 20-yard touchdown strike and later handed off to White for his long touchdown burst. Thomas showed his versatility the previous week when he led the Eskimos in rushing with 24 yards and tacked on 38 yards on three receptions. Eskimos head coach Chris Jones wouldnt tip his cap to which running back has the inside edge for the starting job. "(Thomas) was hanging on to the football," Jones deadpanned. "Well find out in a few days (who our starter will be)." CFL teams have to make final cuts before 10 p.m. Eastern time Saturday. Toston finds himself in a similar position as his Eskimos counterparts. Hes battling Anthony Allen and Jermaine Thomas for the Riders No. 1 running back spot. With the departure of Kory Sheets to the NFLs Oakland Raiders, the defending Grey Cup champions have a big hole to fill in the backfield this season. Tostons 67 yards rushing on seven carries Friday night helped his cause in that tight race. Allen had 39 yards along the ground on 10 carries and Thomas was held to eight yards. "At this point, we have all battled as brothers for this job," Toston said. "Whoever is blessed with the opportunity to be that number one guy is going to ride with it and Im sure the next man will cheer him on." Roughriders head coach Corey Chamblin hinted the job might be one accomplished by committee. "I think theres still something that needs to be proven at that spot," he said. Darian Durant looked sharp for the Riders. He was 7-for-11 passing for 113 yards and two touchdowns, both to Taj Smith. Reilly completed nine of 15 pass attempts for 60 yards. Edmonton opens the regular season in B.C., while Saskatchewan will play host to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on June 28. Authentic Jrue Holiday Jersey .K. Subban has picked the right time of the year to go on an offensive tear. Wholesale Pelicans Jerseys . James Harden wasnt worried and told his coach as much. "He was fired up but I told him: Its OK. Were going to be all right," Harden said. And they were. Houston scored 17 straight points after that timeout, led by 10 from Harden, to take the lead and roll to an easy 129-106 win. http://www.cheappelicansjerseysauthentic.com/?tag=authentic-elfrid-payton-jersey .J. -- Having Ondrej Pavelec earn his 100th NHL win and seeing Mark Scheifele and Evander Kane break goal droughts were nice highlights for the Winnipeg Jets.SONOMA, Calif. -- Will Power thought the world was ending when an earthquake shook him out of bed. A few hours later at Sonoma Raceway, the sleep-deprived driver plummeted from the pole to 20th place before fighting back for a finish that actually increased his IndyCar points lead. Scott Dixon barely noticed the quake, and he calmly racked up another milestone victory while Power frantically stayed in position to take Dixons place as series champion next weekend. Dixon surged ahead with three laps left at Sonoma on Sunday, while Power recovered from a mid-race spin to finish 10th heading to the season finale. Dixon is out of the race to defend his 2013 title after a poor start to the season, but he has won two of IndyCars last three races. Unlike most of his competitors, he wasnt bothered by the 6.0 earthquake that caused extensive damage in the cities around the raceway, including Napa. "I think I caught the last maybe five or 10 seconds," Dixon said. "People were screaming, but I just went back to bed." Dixon grabbed his second Sonoma victory and his 35th win overall after leader Graham Rahal was forced to pit for gas with four laps left. Dixon slid inside Mike Conway for the lead and held on for Target Chip Ganassi Racing, moving him into a fifth-place tie with Bobby Unser for career victories on the circuit. Rahal and Conway both tried to push to the finish on low fuel, but neither made it. Ryan Hunter-Reay finished second, and Takuma Sato was fourth. "We know our team finishes strong, but if we could have started the season on the map, we could have done a lot better," Dixon said. "For me, its been one of the worst seasons Ive had." Although Dixon won, Power was under the IndyCar spotlight. The Australian boosted his lead over teammate Helio Castroneves to 51 points heading to the double-points finale at Fontana on Saturday. Castroneves struggled to an 18th-place finish at Sonoma, and Simon Pagenaud is 81 points back in third after a third-place showing on a willd day in wine country. Authentic Nikola Mirotic Jersey. Power crossed the finish line ninth after a ferocious last-lap push past Justin Wilson, culminating in a thrilling three-wide sprint with Sebastien Bourdais. But IndyCar recorded Wilson in ninth and Power in 10th because of a local yellow flag for the slowing car of Conway, who crawled across the line. The finish capped a tumultuous day for Power, who started on the pole in his attempt to win at Sonoma for the fourth time in five years. "That was a good recovery there," Power said. "We had such a fast car, but thats the way IndyCar racing goes. We maintained the points lead, and were going to Fontana. Well see what we can do, man." Sonoma Raceway was unaffected by the earthquake that hit about 10 hours before the race began. The quake left several drivers alarmed, but unharmed -- although Team Penskes hotel was evacuated, and James Hinchcliffe slept a few hours in his car. Castroneves race was miserable from the opening lap when he sustained damage to a front wing in a multicar collision, forcing him to pit under green for repairs. Power had a huge early lead, but Dixon beat Power out of the pits with a nifty move on the 37th lap. Power then spun himself on cold tires on the first lap after a restart, barely avoiding a significant wreck and even falling behind Castroneves. Power struggled until his tires were replaced, but he kept pushing and gained enough ground to increase the 40-point lead he took into Sonoma over Castroneves. Dixon, who hadnt won at Sonoma since 2007, appreciated the history of catching an open-wheel great in career victories. Checking in from his vacation home in Pagosa Springs, Colorado, the 80-year-old Unser had kind words for the New Zealander. "Scott is a very, very good driver, and records are made to be broken," Unser said. "Hes truly a great driver and drives with a lot of vigour. At his young age, I am sure hell get another win or lots to pass our 35 IndyCar wins we now share together." cheap falcons jerseys cheap ravens jerseys cheap bills jerseys cheap bears jerseys cheap bengals jerseys cheap cowboys jerseys cheap lions jerseys cheap texans jerseys cheap colts jerseys cheap jaguars jerseys cheap chiefs jerseys cheap rams jerseys cheap dolphins jerseys cheap vikings jerseys cheap saints jerseys cheap giants jerseys cheap jets jerseys cheap eagles jerseys cheap steelers jerseys cheap 49ers jerseys ' ' '
